Overview
You will design the AirBills product end-to-end — dashboards, data viz, billing flows, ESG reports — and own the design system that the rest of the team builds on top of.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end design for a major product area, from research through ship.
- Build and maintain the AirBills design system in Figma and code partnership.
- Design data-heavy interfaces: tables, dashboards, charts, exports.
- Run lightweight research with property managers — usability, concept tests.
- Pair with engineering early so design holds up in production.
- Raise the bar on motion, typography, and microcopy across the app.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years designing B2B SaaS products end-to-end.
- Strong portfolio with shipped, data-heavy product work.
- Systems-minded — has owned a real design system, not just contributed.
- Comfortable shipping at high cadence with weekly engineering reviews.
- Clear written communicator.
Nice to have
- Data viz fluency (financial / utility / ESG dashboards).
- Front-end literacy — comfortable in a Figma + Tailwind + React loop.
- Has worked on early-stage products from 0 → 1.
Compensation & location
Base salary (mid-point)
$220,000
Range: $195,000 – $255,000 base + equity
Location: San Francisco
Final offer depends on experience, location, and interview signal. Equity grants come with every offer. We also cover health, dental, vision, and a learning budget.
