Engineering

Senior Site Reliability Engineer

San Francisco · full-time

Overview

You will own how AirBills runs in production — Vercel, Supabase, Inngest, observability, on-call, and cost. Your job is to make deploys boring and incidents rare.

What you’ll do

  • Own platform reliability across Vercel, Supabase, Inngest, and our data pipelines.
  • Stand up observability (logs, traces, metrics, alerts) that engineers actually use.
  • Build the on-call program from scratch: rotations, runbooks, incident review.
  • Tighten CI / CD ergonomics so the team ships safely and quickly.
  • Own cloud spend — find the wins, automate the rest.
  • Partner with product engineers on production readiness before launch.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of infra / platform / SRE at SaaS companies.
  • Strong with cloud primitives (compute, networking, storage, secrets).
  • Has built observability and on-call from scratch, not just maintained it.
  • Comfortable owning data-pipeline reliability, not just web app uptime.
  • Bias for automation over playbooks.

Nice to have

  • Supabase / Postgres operations at scale.
  • Inngest, Trigger.dev, or similar background-job platforms in production.
  • FinOps / cloud-cost optimization wins you can point to.
