Overview
You will own how AirBills runs in production — Vercel, Supabase, Inngest, observability, on-call, and cost. Your job is to make deploys boring and incidents rare.
What you’ll do
- Own platform reliability across Vercel, Supabase, Inngest, and our data pipelines.
- Stand up observability (logs, traces, metrics, alerts) that engineers actually use.
- Build the on-call program from scratch: rotations, runbooks, incident review.
- Tighten CI / CD ergonomics so the team ships safely and quickly.
- Own cloud spend — find the wins, automate the rest.
- Partner with product engineers on production readiness before launch.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of infra / platform / SRE at SaaS companies.
- Strong with cloud primitives (compute, networking, storage, secrets).
- Has built observability and on-call from scratch, not just maintained it.
- Comfortable owning data-pipeline reliability, not just web app uptime.
- Bias for automation over playbooks.
Nice to have
- Supabase / Postgres operations at scale.
- Inngest, Trigger.dev, or similar background-job platforms in production.
- FinOps / cloud-cost optimization wins you can point to.
